Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy, born November 25, 1968 in Canada, is a Canadian actress and musician who has been honored for her outstanding contributions to American television. She was the main character in the American television series Law & Order, where she played prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Her acting talents were displayed in the movies RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as well as Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. In these independent films, she flexed both co-directing skills and her writing abilities. Hennessy began her acting career with her sister in the role of twin call girls in Dead Ringers in 1988. Her Broadway debut was with Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Then in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she appeared as Dr. Marie Lazarus. Later that same year she was promoted to the assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. The show's viewers were captivated by her part for three seasons, until her departure in 1996. Mary Louise Parker.......................Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2 1964, height 5' 7 1/2" (1,71 m)) is an American actress best known for her current lead role on Showtime's television series Weeds portraying Nancy Botwin for which she has received several nominations and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 2006. Parker has appeared in films and television shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America for which she received the Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Parker received the Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part in the role of Proof in the musical Proof on Broadway.
